Protect the Planet.

Give resources a second life

At GreenGroup, protecting the planet means giving new purpose to what others see as waste. Every bottle, every appliance, every piece of glass we recycle is a step toward reducing pressure on natural resources and lowering emissions. Through advanced recycling and re-manufacturing, we keep materials in the loop, proving that a cleaner future is built on second chances.

SDG 6 – Clean Water and Sanitation

GreenGroup operates advanced water treatment plants in its recycling facilities to ensure that water used in technological processes is purified, reused, and recirculated. Water consumption is carefully monitored, and multiple sites invested in infrastructure to reduce water withdrawal and wastewater discharge, lowering the impact on local ecosystems.

SDG 7 – Affordable and Clean Energy

The group is constantly increasing its share of renewable energy and upgrading equipment to reduce electricity consumption. By investing in energy-efficient technologies (e.g., automated sorting, AI-based quality control, modernized production lines), GreenGroup significantly reduces its carbon footprint while making recycling more cost-efficient.

SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production

GreenGroup companies prevents massive amounts of plastic, glass, and WEEE from ending up in landfills. Every year we are producing rPET, fibers, PET strap, and cullet for glass, directly reintroducing secondary raw materials into the economy and reducing dependence on virgin resources.

SDG 13 – Climate Action

Through recycling activities, GreenGroup helps avoiding hundreds of thousands of tons of CO₂ emissions compared to virgin production. The company also mapped its carbon footprint and set reduction targets in line with EU climate goals, showing commitment to tackling climate change.

SDG 14 – Life Below Water

GreenGroup prevents water pollution by recycling plastics and other waste that would otherwise end up in rivers, lakes, or oceans. Advanced wastewater treatment technologies protect aquatic ecosystems and marine biodiversity.

SDG 15 – Life on Land

By collecting and recycling WEEE and plastics, GreenGroup prevents hazardous substances and microplastics from leaking into soil and ecosystems. The company’s industrial waste management services also reduce illegal dumping and uncontrolled landfill, protecting biodiversity.
