A landmark achievement in 2025 was the launch of the GRINNER project at GreenWEEE’s Buzău plant — an X-ray based sorting installation designed to separate batteries from small WEEE streams with exceptional precision. This breakthrough improves material recovery, enhances safety, and sets a new benchmark for recycling infrastructure in Europe.
